Antique white milk glass vase with gilding and enamel, possibly English possibly by Richardson. This vase is completely hand made. The vase is hand blown and the enamel and gilding is handpainted. It is formed on a pontil and has the number 13 in gilding on the base. It is early Victorian, and reminiscent of the Richardson glass in [32]. It is a real class act, and the enameling is delightful. This is a superb interior design item. Many decorated vases of this type tend to look rather bland, this one is very strong and will fit in a minimalist interior despite its early date. |
