This is a fun section. The idea is to take you through a series of choices to enable you to classify your glass form. A database will help you fine tune a choice of makers. You can then get a potted history relevant to that maker via the encyclopedia.

Interestingly since starting the exercise of the supporting documentation (i.e. encyclopedia) we found we had forgotten quite how many glass manufacturers had produced the same types of items. It is difficult, for example, without experience or explicit knowledge of the form to definitively identify some of the differences between the many Deco pressed glass manufacturers. Connections to other web resouces on the net should help.

This is an on-going exercise and will take a little while yet for the beta version to appear.
