SylvaC pottery vases 4693 based on Winged Bull design from Persia, Mesopotamia, Assyria. The Louvre in Paris has a very similar design of a winged bull from Susa in Persia from around 500BC. It takes the form of glazed tiles on a wall to create the picture of the bull. Now we have a more modern version of the bull design. The vases are very appealing and colourful. There has been quite an effort to paint these by hand. There is a bull front and back on each vase. It is good to have the two in the different colourways, and we think these are quite unusual. |
